The interoperability test of "End-to-End Network Slicing with Transport Network Coordination and Edge Cloud Applications in 5G Era" had been performed at iPOP2019 Showcase on 30-31 May at NEC Tamagawa.
This demonstration had the following 5 themas.
1) Operations Automation and Orchestration (UBiqube and Red Hat)
2) Autonomic Resource Management for Service Function Chaining Platform (NICT)
3) Multi-access Edge Computing Service for Autonomous Driving Vehicle Control (Keio Univ., ALAXALA Networks, OA Lab)
4) Open Transport System using OpenROADM and IaC (Infrastructure as Code) (Fujitsu)
5) Active Monitoring/Network Test and Visibility Solutions (Keysight Technologies)

The interoperability test of "Software-Defined Networking and Network Virtualization Technologies for Various Applications" had been performed at iPOP2018 Showcase on 31 May - 1 June at NICT HQ. This demonstration had the following 6 themas.
1) Data-analytics-based optical performance monitoring assisted by container technique
2) Dynamic construction and control of virtual network platform utilizing OpenStack
3) Inter-carrier connection technology for vital traffic in the event of a disaster
4) Open and disaggregated transport network (ODTN)
5) Dynamic virtual machine (VM) migration with dynamic multi-layer-configuration for autonomous driving vehicles (ADV)
6) Optical Slot Switching (OSS) system using Ether TDM Translat

The interoperability demonstration "Remote Control of Industrial Robot by Employing SDN-based Optical Network and Cloud/Edge Computing Technology" had been performed at iPOP2016 Showcase on 15-17 June at Keio University. This demonstration is the world's first open test in which the resources required by an industrial robotic application are automatically provisioned across an SDN-based optical network and a cloud/edge computing facility. Many guests had come to the showcase booth, we had discussed about the future IoT network.
