What's "Global Communication Preliminary Working Group" ?
We will research and propose the hardware and software
to realize several social implementation models of multilingual speech
translation using NICT multilingual speech translation technology for Kansai
area tourism, on the "Global Communication Plan" by the Ministry of Internal
Affairs and Communications.
This WG is an organization set on the Research Promotion Council of Keihanna Info-Communication Open Laboratory.
We provide an
opportunity of the information exchange to encourage the experiment and the
social implementation using the multilingual speech translation technology while
cooperating with the Global Communication Development Promotion Council that was
established on December 17, 2014 to promote the "Global Communication Plan" of
Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
